FAQs
Tickets and access to the event
You must have an event ticket for both days. If you are taking part in the contest, you will also need to register through the event’s Emperor platform. You will have Friday and Saturday to submit your entries. The Awards Ceremony and collection of entries will take place on Sunday.
Due to the event’s organisational policies, tickets for BAC 2027 are non-refundable. However, since they are not nominative, you may give or transfer your ticket in digital format (PDF) to any friend or acquaintance so they can enjoy the experience on your behalf.
Yes, but they may only be consumed in the designated areas.
Contest questions
You will be able to complete the digital registration of all your pieces in the Emperor app until the deadline stated in the official rules. Once the digital registration period has closed, any later or last-minute entry will have to be registered in person on Friday afternoon or Saturday morning, with an additional fee.
No. The reception and submission closing times are strict in order to ensure that the jury can assess the entries under the necessary lighting conditions and without interruptions. Any entry that arrives after the deadline will be considered disqualified, with no right to a refund.
No. For security reasons, proper control and authorship rights over the miniatures, entries may not be displayed under the name of a third party. The contest organisation team will require a national ID card or identification document when the piece is submitted.
Don’t worry! The initial decision depends on you and on the rules. However, during the placement stage, if the panel of judges decides that an entry fits better in another category — for example, moving it from Wargame to Fantasy — the team will relocate it internally without this resulting in any kind of penalty to your score.
Trophies and prizes will not be sent by post under any circumstances. If you are awarded a prize and have to leave early, your prizes will remain in the contest control area until closing time on Sunday so that you can collect them. It is each participant’s responsibility to check whether they have received an award.
